This can be done, but not as easily and as quickly as you’d like. My rule of thumb has been that when something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

My marketing plan is very effective and “up to date” with all the current real estate marketing trends that you will need to use to reach every potential buyer. Here’s my master plan that assures you of your goal of getting that sold sign in the yard.

Social Networking Sites
It’s 2009 and almost everyone has some sort of Social Networking site (i.e., Facebook, Myspace, Activerain, Linkedin). Any good agent should spend money advertising on these sites as a means to promote your home. WWW.REALTOR.COM - Without a doubt, Realtor.com is the most viewed national Multiple Listing Service (MLS) website. Any home that is listed in the MLS will go on this site. However, not all Realtors in Charleston or Huntington pay to enhance their accounts, leaving your listing with one picture and a brief description. Not only do I pay to enhance all my homes for sale, but I also personalize the description in order to give the buyer a better feel for just how great your home is. (Have you ever searched for a home on Realtor.com and wondered why some homes have more pictures than others? It’s because the Realtor hasn’t paid to enhance their listings. Guess how many homes get over-looked due to lack of pictures.) A NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR - Before I started selling houses, I was shopping for my house on Realtor.Com. Listing your home in the MLS is a definite must.
